Bounty Wars - Netflix

When a fugitive skips court and goes on the run, bail bonds companies are on the hook for the money. To motivate bounty hunters to find the accused and recover their cash, these companies create competitions. Bounty Wars tells the stories of these real competitions. In a race against the clock, three bounty hunting teams from California-based Bad Boys Bail Bonds are given five days to put a list of accused in custody while earning big bucks for taking big chances.

Bounty Wars - Boba Fett - Netflix

Boba Fett is a fictional character and bounty hunter in the Star Wars franchise. In the original trilogy of films, he is featured in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as a minion employed by both Darth Vader and Jabba the Hutt, and makes a minor appearance in the altered version of the original film. In the prequel trilogy, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones establishes his origin as an unaltered clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett raised as his son; Boba's storyline from this film is continued in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Boba Fett is also extensively featured in many works of the formerly-canon Star Wars Legends continuity, in which he is notably shown surviving his supposed death from Return of the Jedi, among other feats and adventures. The character is known for the cult following based around him.

Bounty Wars - Standalone film - Netflix

On February 6, 2013, Entertainment Weekly reported that Disney and Lucasfilm were developing a stand-alone film featuring Boba Fett which would take place either between Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back or between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, with Josh Trank set to direct. In November 2016, Disney announced that their contract with Trank was terminated due to his behavior on the set of Fantastic Four. It was reported that the film was still in early development stages at Lucasfilm with the company planning to shoot the film in London, telling the origin story of Fett. In May 2018, it was announced that James Mangold signed on to write and direct the Boba Fett film.
